|“Accident Complications!!” • March 31, 2006|
Sometimes you’re just in the wrong place at the wrong time!
A police officer arrived at the scene of an accident moments after a Mercedes had been wrapped around a telephone pole. He spots a gorgeous young blond lying on the grass beside the driver’s side door and rushes to her. Miraculously, the blond is just shaken up. She’s mostly incoherent, but the officer manages to find out that the airbags saved her life and that she managed to crawl out the window as she was afraid of a fire.
The officer puts her in his patrol car to calm down and looks over the wreck. On the other side of the car, he finds a guy about the blonde’s age in blue jeans lying beside the car. The officer dashes to his aid, and finds out that the guy has a broken leg — and of course, he’s also really shaken up. While he waits for an ambulance, the officer asks, “Were you a passenger in the car? Can you tell me what happened, son?”
“Uh — uh — no — I wasn’t in the car — but — uh — I was a witness.”
“Then what happened? How did you end up here? How did you get hurt?”
The guy looks up and says, “I broke my leg from the fall — I’m a telephone lineman that was at the top of that pole!”
